We offer a seasonally global diverse menu, food prepared from scratch, tea and coffee brewed fresh, custom wedding cakes, professional service and a wide variety of food presentation options to fit any style of event. With every booking, Tayvin Gardens has an exclusive catering contract with The Linen Apron to provide and create any desired menu.
Our Executive Chef: Brittany Vincent
Chef Vincent is a local native of Kentucky and a graduate from one of the top culinary schools, The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park New York class of '09. While attending culinary school, she worked at Apple Pie Bakery in Hyde Park New York and never took the great local NYC talent for granted. From staging at Michelin Star Restaurants including Eleven Madison Park, Jean George, and The Modern to honing her own talents at the relais and chateaux, Blackberry Farm, Chef Vincent learned the importance of using fresh, local meats and produce in her cooking which is now practiced today at The Linen Apron.
Chef Vincent has had the chance to work with many renowned chefs such as Joseph Lynn, and guest chefs Nate Applemen, and Nancy Silverton and she also took the roll as sous chef at AAA four and five star restaurant, Proof on Main at the 21 c Hotel. At Proof, she worked with talented chefs Michael Paley, Seadon Shouse, as well as guest chefs Kevin Nashan, & Sean Brock. Chef Vincent had the honor of cooking with Michael Paley in NYC at the James Beard house and Saveur Magazine.
Later she took the roll as Executive Chef for Unidine Food Management Company based in Boston Massachusetts who has earned a reputation for culinary excellence, customer service and food innovation. With over 200 facilities across the USA, they were proclaimed by Boston Business journal as one of the fastest growing private companies in New England. A company that sets the standards for made from scratch food.
Now Chef Vincent operates The Linen Apron out of Tayvin Gardens, acting as their executive chef creating menus custom to every event.
